Incredible...

I am simply amazed by this video - it has captured one animal acting compassionately towards a fellow creature (of another species)!

Wow... new article on bees~

A MUST READ!

Sadly, this is only of interest now b/c of the economic implications... it doesn't mention cell phones (it may be what is suppressing the bees' immune systems)... what do u think?

Honey Woes...

I remember reading about this issue (regarding cellphones causing large honeybee populations to die off) a few months ago - I rediscovered it today while randomly going through links.

AN ARTICLE ABOUT BEES AND CELLPHONES - the article on the original site cuts off, so I pasted the full article on an earlier date of my blog.

I'd love to know what you guys think.

It seems that for any convenience, there is a price - the issue boils down to how much we are willing to pay. Many technological advances have been made in the last few decades at the price of damaging our natural resources. I hope we can find a way to repair that damage before it's irreversible.

Check out this video where Dr. Nick Begich talks about electronic weapons technologies of the 21st century. Even though this slightly monotonous presentation isn't about the vanishing of whole swarms of bees, one can suspect that the application of these technologies - powerful enough to control the behavior of large numbers of people - may also have the unintended side-effects of harming insects and birds.
